game 5 recap

in the legendary words of Han Solo....
Don't get cocky kid!

Sure we are 4 and 1
Sure we have outscored our opponents by a margin of nearly 3 to 1
Sure we are playing rock solid D

But we need to keep on the edge. Never forget the loss, watching a WALK OFF HR by a kid that did not hit one out of the outfield ALL GAME LONG.

Remember that the two close games we have had have been the only games against teams with close to a winning record.

That being said, if we keep doing what we do, we will do good.

Next week is part one of the Northview World Series. Northview Blue is currently 1 and 3, but we need to be careful. They have some talent on this team including a good pitcher who uses fakes and lots of different pitching spots, and lots of speed in the outfield. Game is at 7:15 on field 3.

Cool Stuff about lasts night game:
Scored in every inning but the first
Phil Tallied 5 RBIS
Paul scoring on the in the park home run
Laying the tag at home, safe/out? YOU make the call!
